William Mitchell of Springfield, IL is one of the National Guild of Hypnotists wunderkind's and shining stars. In a number of sources, Mitchell refers to himself as "Dr. Mitchell" or "Rev. Dr. William Mitchell." However, according to Mitchell, he only "did doctoral work at TCU [Texas Christian University]," and never had a doctoral degree conferred. Mitchell is also a member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnosis Association, both organizations rife with PhD frauds. We were amused upon finding a Youtube video of him, the title page reading, "Dr. William Mitchell, Comedy Stage Hypnosis: A show you can TRUST!" One wonders how a "man of the cloth" could also be a "man of fraud."
