An extremely disappointed former student of Leslie McIntosh's "Coastal Academy of Hypnotic Arts" notified us of her success at scamming numerous students who participate in her courses that she holds a doctorate. The Coastal Academy of Hypnotic Arts allegedly "has the reputation of being the preeminent Hypnosis training institution in Western Canada," at least in her own mind.  In truth, she holds a legitimate PhD in absolutely nothing. According to her website, she is a member and trainer for: the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, and is a Board Certified Member and Instructor of the National Guild of Hypnotists -all organizations that are rife with individuals utilizing fake doctorates to boost their credentials.
